Anxiety is a common part of the college student life. Students from across Abington’s diverse community also commonly encounter excessive levels of anxiety that negatively affect their social lives, academic efforts, and college experiences in general. Finding opportunities in college to develop effective, yet basic learnable strategies can make an actual difference in handling anxiety that could otherwise get in the way of connecting, performing, and functioning more fully as a student at Abington and beyond.. . . . Abington CAPS is offering a Spring 2023 group workshop series, ‘Handling Anxiety In College,’ on skills for anxiety in social situations, academics, & college life overall. Group workshop sessions will be held in Cloverly 106 on Mondays during common hour, 12:20-1:10p, February 6th through April 17th. All Abington students are welcome to attend on a weekly or single-session basis without registration. Snacks will be served. For more information, contact jeffhofer@psu.edu.. . . .
