Our mindfulness-based stress reduction workshop will focus on mindfulness practices and mind-body awareness. It is an open group where students may drop in whenever needed. Coming to most (if not all) meetings will allow students to get the most out of all this workshop can offer, but weekly attendance is not mandatory. Weekly sessions will generally follow this format:. . . . ๐น10 minutes of checking-in. Exploring how you are feeling and where you are at emotionally. . ๐น20 minutes on the science of mindfulness. Learning of the research and evidence that shows the power mindfulness can have on those who regularly practice. . ๐น20 minutes of mindfulness practice. . ๐น5-10 minutes debriefing and processing. . . .
