Abstract
Utilizing the 20-meter telescope at the Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia, we systematically surveyed the sky to study the background noise levels.

Avinash Sookram is a 4th year Computer Science major at Penn State Abington. Participating in pulsar radio astronomy research for the past few years, Avinash plans on working in industry in either software development or data analysis before going ahead to graduate school.
