The HUB is currently my preferred studying location because of how much it is busting with life with the presence of students. I do not have any in-person classes this semester, therefore, I use the experience I have at the HUB to simulate my preferred college experience involving interaction with other students. I cannot help but smile when I walk past a group of freshmen discussing limits or when I stand next to other students (of course socially distanced) waiting for my Starbucks order. These are small quite ordinary things but now they give me the push to get through my classes every day.

I have found preferred seating locations, most of which are rather secluded, but I take walks every now and then to stretch and busk in the radiation of joy by the student population. I have made friends with the lady who reminds everyone to put their masks on throughout the day because she always catches me eating no matter where I have settled for the day. I am yet to meet any students I know but that does not ruin the spirit.

Given I have about two months to graduation I am now taking in more of Penn State from its students to the landscape and buildings. I have found this to be very helpful in dealing with the uncertainty that comes with graduation from college and what it beings with it.

Back to the subject of the HUB, I have found nice spots for pleasure reading, especially on the second floor and this has been a great way to ground myself amidst senior design projects. I also got a flower from a complete stranger on valentines last Sunday morning coupled with care packages mid-week- the HUB really is the place to end my undergraduate college career.
