I  went to Israel for 10 days and it was definitely an experience to remember. We went to Jerusalem and I seen so many holy sites. It was crazy to think that Jesus was in the same area as me.

My favorite moment in Jerusalem was New Years Eve. I  spent it with Amanda, Haley, and Rasha. We went out to the market and it was a night to remember. We made a friend name Benny, who served in the army. I loved every moment of it, because I was able to celebrate a new year in a different country.

After Jerusalem, we went to Tel-Aviv. It reminded me a lot of New York City, because of the atmosphere. My favorite part of Tel-Aviv was the Jaffa market, because the food was so good. I loved every moment that we spent there, especially since we had the big breaks.

It was crazy to see how the people of Israel live. I  went to a refugee camp in Palestine and I  seen a rocket in person. I learned how the impact that the rockets have on children growing up. It affects their mental health, but somehow they manage to have faith.

Israel was an amazing place, but I do believe that people should be educated on culture before going on trips like that.
