Senior year has been very interesting, because I did not expect to be on homecoming court. I am super excited and super proud of myself. If I had to tell this to my freshman self, she would not believe me. She would think I was lying, because it is rare to see someone on homecoming court (especially a women of color). I was selected out of so many applicants to serve on the 2023-2024 homecoming court. I am proud to say that I will have left my mark on this campus.
Besides homecoming court, I also applied to two rotational programs after graduation. I applied to Deloitte and Hilton (I have an interview for Hilton on Friday, so I will have completed 1/3 of the interviews). I am super excited to see what the future has in store of me. It looks like my hardwork is starting to pay off. All of those organization and late nights will be worth it.
I also received a compliment from a faculty in communication as she was expressing how happy I am this year. She is right, I am super happy despite the stress I am undergoing. Life is stressful and is not easy, but I am smiling because I get to see tomorrow and spend time with my loved ones. I think this year is very special and intentional for me as I want to spend all of my time with my friends and having fun at Penn State.
