Copyright

The Libraries makes all of its digitized collections available for teaching, learning and research. Although the Libraries evaluates copyright in its collections before making them publicly available online, these materials may not all be part of the public domain, even though they have been made publicly accessible.

Whenever possible the Libraries provides rights information in the catalog and finding aids. It is the users’ responsibility to adhere to the stated access policy, copyright laws, and the educational fair use guidelines, and obtain permissions for their own use where necessary. Permissions are required whenever the reproduction or transmission of copyrighted materials exceeds the boundaries of fair use and the particular use is not permitted by agreement. Where the Libraries does not hold the copyright to the material we cannot grant permission to use it.
