What if I told you that you could get a round trip flight to Toronto for as low as $162 dollars?? Welcome back to cheap flights and cheap sights everyone! Today we will be exploring what Toronto, Canada has to offer, on a budget.
Travelling abroad is normally quite expensive for an average person living in the U.S. thanks to the insane prices airlines will give you for roundtrip flights. But, on random occasion, a specific destination will have crazy cheap flight tickets for reasons like underbooking and technical errors. I am here to highlight one such destination and how you can turn travelling from being a headache into a relaxing experience.
The flight that I am analyzing today leaves from Laguardia (LGA) Airport and arrives in Toronto (YYZ). You can book this roundtrip flight for $162 if you book within a few days from this posting. There is a limited time frame in which you can book, which means you are limited to traveling between March-May or September-January. Usually these flights will cost $450+, so if you have been dreaming of traveling to Canada then keep reading on! (Deal courtesy of Scott’s Cheap Flights)
Note that the climate in Toronto is a bit colder than you might be used to in the States. Be sure to bring a coat and some boots if you are going in a colder season!
When you arrive in Toronto, you will need a place to stay. As always, I am here to find you a great Airbnb for you to book! Airbnb is much better than hotel stays, since you usually get a much more spacious living place for much less, along with a direct line to someone who lives in the area locally. This is great for if you have any questions about what to do and what to see.
I found this spacious ENTIRE condominium for just $75/per night! You get access to washer/dryer, a very nice bathroom, and modern aesthetics. From the page, “The condo is equipped with: wifi, 40” TV with cable and Netflix, washer/dryer, towels, linen, electric tea kettle, pots, cutlery – business or pleasure, you will absolutely love it and feel like home.” What a steal! Note that parking is not offered, however there is street parking close by. The location is also very good, right in downtown Toronto, close to Old Toronto. You will find that you are just a walk away from many city sights.
When venturing further around the city, be sure to check out https://www.ttc.ca/Routes/index.jsp beforehand. Toronto has very suitable transit options, on top of a robust uber/lyft userbase!
For some good eats, check out Assembly chef’s hall! This place has about 14 stations, all headed by a different chef, which each serve a unique style of dish. The interior is spacious and luxurious, and you will be able to find delicious food of all types here! Everything from Japanese cuisine to traditional Canadian dishes can be found. It is definitely a neat vibe, and while the prices might not be super cheap, nothing is outrageous and it is worth the cost.
That’s all folks! Tune in next time for another neat place at a great price!
