Hello! My name is Alex, and I’m a freshman at Penn State University Park. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I am very excited to now be living here in State College. My dorm is Atherton Hall on the south side of campus, where I am a student in the Schreyer Honors College. Currently, I am undecided about my major, but I am potentially interested in physics, math, or economics.
In addition to academics, I am also involved in several extracurricular activities. So far, I have joined concert band, chess club, and Atlas, a special interest Thon organization that raises money for pediatric cancer patients. On September 8, I participated in Fresh Start, which aims to help freshman get involved at Penn State through community service. Some of my other hobbies include reading, writing, and listening to music.
