Program Matrix

Each degree program offered through the World Campus has a Program Team. For new programs, this team works together to get the program online and available for students. For existing programs, this team works to make sure courses and sections are available for the number of students enrolled and to keep the program up-to-date and relevant. Program Teams are led by a Program Manager who works for Program Planning & Management (PP&M) at World Campus.

Each Program Team has the following members:

  • Program Manager from PP&M;
  • Program Assistant from PP&M;
  • Advising Liaison from AA&SDS
  • Admissions representative from World Campus Admissions;
  • Marketing
  • Faculty from the academic unit.

We often receive emails and phone calls requesting information about degree and certificate programs that are advised through the academic departments.  We use the Program Matrix to refer students to the appropriate “college contacts” so that they can get the information that they need. For example, if a caller asked about the graduate certificate in Autism, you would give them the contact information for the college contact, Pamela Wolfe, 814-863-8002, psw7@psu.edu. See your mentor for details about using the chart.

Please note that World Campus advisers do not advise graduate students. Additionally, certain academic departments have decided to advise for their own programs. These programs include

  • Energy and Sustainability Policy,
  • R.N. to B.S.

Browse the Program Matrix and identify the contacts for the majors you will be working with.
