Anais Roque is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Social Science in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University. Her broad research interests include food, energy and water insecurity as well as multi-level (household, community and state) strategies for disaster resilience and sustainability. In ASU, she works to foster interdisciplinary experiences as a Research Mentor for ASU’s Culture, Health and the Environment Laboratory working with students from diverse fields (e.g. Biology, Anthropology and Global Health) on qualitative data analysis. Currently, her work focuses on water sharing experiences in the wake of Hurricane María in Puerto Rico.
