Amber Wutich is Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Center for Global Health at Arizona State University. Dr. Wutich received her doctorate from the University of Florida in cultural anthropology with a specialization in tropical conservation and development. Her research examines inequitable environmental institutions and global health disparities, with an emphasis on water insecurity. She directs the Global Ethnohydrology Study, co-edits the journal Field Methods, and co-authored the book Analyzing Qualitative Data: Systematic Approaches. Dr. Wutich is an award-winning teacher of ethnographic field methods and text analysis. She brings to the project knowledge of social science methods, research on Arizona water, cultural anthropology.
