Jack Watson’s research interests include water quality and solute-interactions as they relate to soil, transport of pesticides, toxic organics, pharmaceuticals, natural and synthetic hormones, and personal care products. He presently teaches courses entitled: Soil Properties and Functions; Soil Physical Characteristics, and Unsaturated Zone Hydrology and Chemical Transport. He brings experience with Extension Water Quality programing to the project as well as research experience in transport through soil of emerging contaminants, with consideration of impacts on water quality.
