Lilyan Fulginiti specializes on research in production economics and microeconomic foundations of growth with an emphasis on international agricultural development and sustainability of resource use. She earned her doctorate from North Carolina State University, a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree from Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, Argentina. Lilyan began her career as an economist with the World Bank in Washington, D.C. where she worked in developing countries focusing on the political economy of agricultural pricing policies.  She is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she has been since 1996. The project will benefit from her knowledge of the economics of decision making and incentive compatible engagement.
