PAS6: If the Trolls Get It, You Can Too

During this period of staying at home, I think we’ve all been confronted with boredom and constant choices of how we can be spending our time. We are all looking for little ways to find joy and entertainment when things seem bleak.

In one of those moments that seems to say, “why the heck not,” my family recently watched Trolls World Tour.

After seeing the first one, I fully expected no more than a cute movie with more fun Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake duets.

RCL6: Self-Care and Our Sense of Self

A few weeks ago in one of my classes, a presentation was given about taking care of our mental health and ourselves in general. I think it is time that I talk about the genre very near and dear to my heart,  the rom-com. One of my favorites of all time is the 1998 picture, You’ve Got Mail. In addition to the excellent duo of Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, this film tells a story that covers an important issue that I find especially relevant in America today.
