This TED Talk presentation was really difficult for me as I am not used to giving presentation like this one. The style and nature in which it was given was very unique and therefore made it difficult for me to structure my presentation in the same way.  My attempt so structures it in this way in my opinion was mediocre.  Overall, the slideshow itself was similar to the TED Talk slideshows.  However, I feel like my speech itself was not as similar as it did not follow the same speaking style.  This is where I feel my presentation fell short and could have been stronger.  I believe I could have crafted my speech in a better way and if I did this, I think it would shine through when I actually presented.  My speaking was a bit choppy and not as straightforward as I hoped.  For the future, I would correct this issue to improve my speech giving abilities and hopefully improve my grade.

In regard to, “The History of a Public Controversy Idea,” I have a few ideas which I think might work and make an interesting presentation.  One of the ideas I have is looking into Pizza gate which became an extremely popular controversy as of recent.  The notion of this controversy is that certain pizza restaurants were running a child sex trafficking ring.  While it has been largely debunked, most notability by the Washington D.C. Police, this conspiracy theory has been embraced by many and people continue to believe that the child sex trafficking ring exists.  The second and other public controversy I was going to look at was the Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton cheating scandal.  This scandal was heavily denied but many people and claim that it happened including Monica Lewinsky.  It was a huge scandal because it involved the President of the United States who was supposed to be a proper representation of American citizens.  Both scandals are good options and would be equally fun to investigate.
