Dr. Charlie Haldeman, Pratt & Whitney
Fellow of Test Instrumentation and Method Development

Dr. Haldeman is currently associated with the Advanced Measurements Group at Pratt & Whitney, a Raytheon Technologies Corp. company. In his role he focuses on validation of design methodology and predictive tools using a variety of analytical and experimental resources. He has been involved with a several engine and rig programs throughout Pratt & Whitney and its associated academic Centers of Excellence. His current focus is on environmental test methodology development. His other research has focused on full scale rotating rigs obtaining aero performance, aerothermal and structural measurements in short-duration, and now continuously operating, turbine facilities.

Dr. Sydni Credle, DOE-NETL
Technology Manager

Dr. Credle currently serves as portfolio lead for three (3) research and development programs within Crosscutting Research Program, including (i) Sensors and Controls, (ii) Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis, and (iii) University Training and Research. These programs, comprising both in-house and extramural R&D efforts, combine for a total of 48 active projects valued at over $46 million dollars. Dr. Credle holds a B.S. and M.S. degree from Florida A&M University in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Ph.D. from University of Florida in the same field. In addition, Sydni is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a specialization in thermal and fluid systems for the state of West Virginia.
