Hi! My name is Alayna Lewis and I am a dedicated Marketing Student at The Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. When I graduate in May of 2023, I will graduate with a degree from Smeal College of Business. I am an active member of Omega Chi Sigma, a Professional Business Fraternity at Penn State. I will be serving as the Director of Branding for Omega Chi Sigma during the 2022-2023 school term. This position allows me to design merchandise, run all of our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Website, etc.), and create brand awareness for the organization.

I have been on the Dean’s List three times during my academic career. My college career started at Penn State New Kensington and then I transferred to University Park (State College) for my last two years of undergrad. I have a passion for marketing and often use it as an outlet to be creative. This year, I have received an internship at GNC headquarters location in Pittsburgh, PA as a marketing/business intern on their branding team. My project at GNC consists of updating a current brand’s architecture, packaging/labels, creating new ways to educate consumers about the products, and more. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers). When I am not focused on my education, I am an avid photographer of portraits and landscapes. In the summer, you can probably find me taking portraits for friends or traveling to my family in South Carolina, Florida, and Delaware. I am a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at Penn State University and enjoy attending events/fundraisers with my sisters. If I had to describe myself in 3 words it would be: Outgoing, Creative, and Kind.
