The teacher selects, adapts, and/or creates appropriate instructional resources and materials, including instructional technologies.

Instructional technologies has been crucial to this school year. I have actively created resources and materials that can be adapted to meet the needs of all students, even remotely.

This can be shown through my efforts to make interactive lessons on multiple instructional platforms; such as Google Classroom, TPT Easel, and Kahoot!.

During our hybrid schooling time, I used TPT Easel to upload my own activities to make them interactive online. In-person students completed the activities physically, while the hybrid students completed the same activities online. This way, both groups of students are doing the same activities on the same day.

PRE-STUDENT TEACHING

For a capitalization lesson, the teacher candidate adapted a pre-made Nearpod to fit the needs of their individual students. The lesson included both whole group and small group activities.

Below is both the whole group and small group activities for this lesson.
