You know that you work in a soil science lab, when you have a cart completely covered in bags and containers of soil! And they will be staying that way for awhile, because I have no other place to put them. These soils are very important because they contain data necessary for my Ph.D. dissertation. While the samples have already been processed and the data obtained, they need to be saved, just in case something needs to be reverified or I need to obtain additional data. Plus I think the cart of soil adds character and is definitely a talking point when people visit the lab!
