1. Services and Support
- New dining options to meet the requirements of Halal and Kashrut for observant Muslim and Jewish faith students
- Student Disability Resources promotes October as “Disability Awareness Month,” and OPP is analyzing disability access in sports venues
- Military Appreciation Week and hiring of Col. Eugene McFeely as University’s first senior director for Veterans Affairs and Services
2. Education and Scholarship
- Held First Amendment Panel Discussion
- The Faculty Senate’s Joint Diversity Awareness Task Force recommended enhancements to diversity-related courses
- New Student Orientation We Are Project
- First “All In” conference attracted 400+ attendees from twenty Penn State campuses
- Faculty Senate approves Report Bias website be added to all University course syllabi

3. Recruitment and Training
- Hired Sara Oliver-Carter as Senior Director of Talent, Diversity and Inclusion
- Equity Action Resource Team has 100+ volunteers available for search committees
- Daylong training for Penn State police on “enhancing relations in a diverse community” at U.P., New Kensington, and Schuylkill
- We Are All In – Workplace Learning and Performance Summer Diversity Series
- Developing mentoring program for newly hired diverse employees (partnership with Commission on Racial/Ethnic Diversity)
4. Dialogue
- Inclusive Language Campaign for Resident Assistants
- “All In” bracelets, Paul Robeson Cultural Center (PRCC) encourages discussion on diversity
- Facilitated Dialogues: President’s Council and the Student Leadership Roundtable held the first “All In” dialogue
- World In Conversation project looks to expand diversity and inclusion dialogues
- Penn State campuses hosting discussions and faculty/staff retreats
- Each Faculty Senate meeting had a diversity topic
- Town Hall panel with Provost, Senior Vice President for Finance and Business, and Vice Provost for Educational Equity
5. Awareness
- Awarded inaugural “All In” award to one faculty member and one student
- “All In” videos have been featured at athletic events and on social media
- World Campus is promoting “All In” events on its digital calendar that reaches more than 13,000 students
