Why You Should Join

The Penn State Altoona Motorsports Club is an open-opportunity club that promotes automotive experience and team-based projects. We accept all majors and we don’t require any prior automotive knowledge for anybody who is looking to join We travel to various BAJA SAE competitions around the country to test ourselves against dozens of competing teams.

We have projects that involve various levels of experience in different fields, such as mechanical experience involved with working on our vehicles, sales experience in our business presentations, graphic design/website designing knowledge used for our online projects, and professional communication experience used in our contacts with various businesses.

We typically meet on Tuesdays at noon, and we have our work nights at 7 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are interested in joining or want to know more, feel free to come down to the shop or reach out at: motorsports.psuaa@gmail.com
