PMG – Manufacturing Engineer – Philipsburg, Pa

We are a powdered metal plant that makes internal components for shock absorbers (pistons, base valves, and rod guides mainly).  I just found out this morning that there is a good chance the other manufacturing engineer (also an EMET graduate) located here will be moving on to another opportunity.  I was wondering if you knew of any students, either recently graduated or otherwise, that may be looking for a job associated with our major.  The main responsibility of our position is project work for improvement within our manufacturing processes.  We design, build, and maintain future equipment as well as assist maintenance in maintaining existing equipment such as conveyors, presses, and packing robots.  The position utilizes mechanical and electrical design as well as PLC troubleshooting and programming.  As previously stated, there is a slight chance he will not be leaving us, but it is more likely than not.  I just wanted to send out a feeler so-to-speak to see if you would be the best person to get in touch with to see if any EMET graduates were actively seeking employment.

Thanks,
