Guidedwave – Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Company Info

Guidedwave is a small, established State College area company specializing in the design and development of nondestructive testing technologies, with technology transfer and product development efforts in pipeline, rail, aviation, power generation, manufacturing, civil infrastructure, and military products. We strive to develop strategic partnerships in a variety of different areas via licensing, fabrication, software development, and in-service inspection. Guidedwave started as a mainly SBIR/STTR-funded company developing unique solutions for government agencies. Many of these development projects led to the core capabilities that allow us to provide solutions today. Although SBIR/STTR activity is still a large part of what we do, we have slowly transitioned to more product development and private industry contracts. Through the years, Guidedwave has had the opportunity to work with and create lasting partnerships with many large and small companies. Guidedwave offers a unique entrepreneurial environment for new employees to apply engineering skills and creativity to develop and support new nondestructive testing technologies.
