Job Description:
Responsibilities include engineering, engineering management, business development, project
management, internal project management oversight, and proposal preparation. The engineer will
perform project management and technical work supporting the development of the company’s
new Philadelphia office. The position will be involved in multiple tasks ranging from engineering,
business development, management and project coordination. The job duties may include but not
be limited to:
• Engineering – analyze and participate in the development of technical specifications and
procurement documents, operations & maintenance (O&M) plans, rail fleet management
plans, studies, and schedules and budgets. Review and analyze safety systems and
processes as well as planning and reliance. Perform engineering design reviews. Conduct
reviews of supplier quality systems. For testing programs, conduct First Article Inspection
audits of critical suppliers, resolution of engineering issues related to the testing protocols.
• Business development – provide input and assistance in business development for the
development of the new company Philadelphia office, and the duties may include marketing
and bids search, setting up teaming opportunities, participating meetings and business
development events, preparing statement of qualifications and proposals, and other
business development related tasks.
• Management and administration support to the company new office for activities involving
office setup, procedure development, regulation compliance, etc.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and professional engineer (PE) preferred
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, engineering programs and CADD capacity is
desired.

areas of concern.

Mechanical Engineer

Job Descriptions

· Design and fabricate custom fixtures for microelectronics assembly processes

· Design and procure electronics assembly related materials such as solder printing stencils, graphite or metal reflow fixtures, open tool electronics packages (In market), test vehicle packages, various lead frames, passive components, etc

· Creating and managing project plans such as tasks, resources, and schedules for process development/production activities

· Specifying, identifying, and procuring new manufacturing equipment for production readiness and preparing equipment for production

· Developing and optimizing process parameters

· Developing and revising process documentations and work instructions

· Oversee in-line and final inspections, dimensional measurements, support quality control tests of assemblies’ activities, and ensure product is meeting all requirements thru out processes

· Provide inputs to sales engineers on cycle time, labor hours require, assembly process flow, material procurement costs, lead time and alternatives on material selections for quoting the job

· Provide assistance in automation the process cycles to reduce cost and cycle time

· Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to address production, equipment, critical to quality and safety related matters

· Coordinate all production related activities with floor supervisors, assembly technicians, schedular and maintenance persons

· Any other responsibilities management can assign

Requirements or Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or material or equivalent, previous micro-electronics, electronic assembly or clean room experience plus

· Must be familiar or able to run Computer added design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or TurboCad

· Must be familiar with Surface-mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, electrical and mechanical aspects of microelectronics assemblies, various types of printed circuit boards their properties, essential fixturing material and their properties (thermal, mechanical, and optical), temperature profiling, vacuum reflow assembly processes and material properties in general

· Prior experience with ERP system is a plus

· Able to generate, review and interpret microelectronic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, datasheets and MSDS

· Minimum 1-2 years of Industry engineering is required
