Virtual Video Chats via Brazen

For All Majors / Internship and Full-Time Positions

 

You’re probably asking, how does a Virtual Career Fair work?  Similar to Zoom, students have the opportunity to have video chats with recruiters who are looking to fill 2024 internship and job openings. Instead of Zoom, the platform is called Brazen. It’s simple to use but you do need to make sure you’re prepared in advance (setup your account and upload your resume). You’ll also want to ensure you plan to be in a quiet space and dress the part with proper background and lighting and wifi connection.

Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, Talent Acquisition will be hosting an Engineer 1 hiring event on August 17, 2023. This event is for entry-level engineering opportunities in the Engineering & Design (E&D) division. Qualified internal NNS employees who apply will be invited for an in-person interview. Qualified external candidates who apply will be invited for a video interview. The deadline to apply to be invited for an interview is August 6.
