Description
This position is a gig-hire project that can take anywhere from 40-60hrs to complete and will be based on deliverables. The
gig position will be remote work based out of United States.
Objective
To continue IKOS’s growth and strengthen our team in the United States, we are looking for a student with Market Research
Analysis experience in the railway sector keen to work on large-scale projects. This individual is to perform a market analysis
on the Railway Sector across the United States; focused on New York, Florida, and New Jersey . As the US government is
looking to expand its railway network with bills and proposals such as H.R.5805 – High Speed Rail Corridor Development Act of
2020 by Jim Costa or the National Plan to develop high speed rail by Seth Moulton, the U.S. Representative for
Massachusetts’s, IKOS is looking to explore how movements similar to this will impact the market and where/how we can get
involved.
Gig Expectations:
 Provide a written report on the rail industry market in the United States. Report may include for each state:
o Involved players
o Upcoming innovative projects
o Future projects
o Statistical data/back-up
We are looking to address and highlight gaps withing the US Regions in rail industry and ultimately present a summary
analysis and future projections . Throughout the process participant can expect to meet with our Business Engineers to
review progress and ensure timely delivery s of your deliverables.
Qualifications
Applicants for this position must have authorization to legally work in the U.S. that does not require sponsorship of a
visa for employment authorization (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT)). Individuals who require such sponsorship now or in the
