A historic Broadway building is in the process of being sold for $6M, in order for the building to be used as event space. In 2022, we all know how extravagant events (especially weddings) have an ultimate shared goal-to be different than everywhere else! Many event-throwers are looking for a venue that their guests will remember for a lifetime, and more often than not, historical buildings are a great option. The Academy of Music Production Education and Development (AMPED) is in the process of buying the historical 2500 Building, which offers 40,000 sq feet of space. AMPED has been actively fundraising in order to get this historic building.

This story relates to my client Eagle Iron Works and Curtin Village because they are currently changing ownership of the property, allowing them to have a larger variety of events on the grounds. Examples of possible events to be held at the historic iron mill are weddings, family reunions, festivals, concerts, and more. I would say that AMPED is setting fourth on a strategy to get the most donations and raise the most funds in order to follow through with their plans for the event center. Positivity takes the stage for this story because it is really amazing how AMPED as a brand comes together with one another to help members reach personal as well as community wide goals in concern to their event center.

I believe Eagle Iron Works and Curtin Village could follow AMPED’s energy and motivational tactics when following through with gaining funding and support from their community. One of my client’s “problems” is that they will need a little bit more funding from visitors/the community to keep the iron mill functional as a historic landmark. AMPED as a brand seems to be a really driven group of individuals that know what they want to achieve, and a brand which set its goals in a timely manner.
