One year ago on the 24th Naya Rivera was laid to rest after her tragic boat accident, Many people loved her and mourned her death. Ryan Dorsey was her ex-husband and father to their son Josey, He was devastated after finding out the news on the boat accident. As time has gone by for the family it still feels like yesterday when they had to say goodbye to a member of their family, “Today…A year ago we laid you to rest. I still can’t believe it. The year has flown by, so fast that it doesn’t seem like it’s been a year at all,”, This is a quote from Ryan as he remembers  Naya. He was left to be a single dad because of what happened, he loves his son so much and finds it crazy to see how much he has grown in the past year, “Our boy has grown so much. He’s such an explorer, so inquisitive. He’s sweet, so funny, and his laugh always lights up the room. He’s an intuitive soul to say the least.” After reading this it made me feel so bad for what they’ve gone through but glad to hear that their family is doing well. As a huge fan of glee the death of another cast member did affect me, I watched this show as I grew up with my mom and grew an emotional connection to some of the characters like Santana who was played by Naya Rivera. Ryan says one quote that made me feel so emotional, Fly high, Rest In Peace, knowing he’s doing ok…he’s being raised right, and he’s got a lot of family and people around him that love him, and you.” hearing this made me almost tear up because he just wants his wife to know that their kid is ok and that she should be at rest now, this really hit me hard. I feel so bad for everyone who was affected by her death and I send my condolences to them and hope all is well.
