Activities such as playing sports and socializing in some groups might be a defining feature of their college experience, see as it is not only what is available to them, but is also what they enjoy. While I have never particularly had the hand-eye coordination not hand-foot coordination (or any other type of coordination, really, I have to say that my heart has lied with something a little more artistic. One of my absolute passions is theatre. I love not only watching musical theatre and acting performances, I love being a part of them. I love the experience and everything it means to be part of a cast. With that being said, there are two directions I could go with a blog regarding my theatrical inclinations. The first is an insider scoop on the inner working of a production, covering everything from a week one break down of cliques you will find to a comprehensive guide of the hectic chaos that come with show week. Not only would I include broad ideas about the general process and what it means to be wither a part of the cast, working behind the scenes, or staring in the pit orchestra, I could also implement examples and anecdotes based on my own experiences with theatre. The second direction this could go is more in the realm of opinion rather than evidential facts while still keeping the theatrical background. Like I previously mentioned, I not only love to perform in the theatre, I love to go to the theatre to experience the story-telling that is a production. My other direction for a show based passion blog would be watching a large variety and number of shows and reviewing them, giving my opinion of key part about the show, including actor choice, song dynamic, and costume fails. This could be expanded to include (or exclude) a number of things. For example, I could voice opinions on Broadway productions, or I could make it a more local idea and strictly view productions in the area other students may have the opportunity to experience themselves. Which ever way, theatre is one of my great passions and I hope to be able to share my experience with all aspects of it with others.

Along with being encouraged to vote by people and clipboards standing vigilantly at attention at every corner in State College, we are reminded of our civic duty to participate in the decisions that create our country. Voting is not just a right that we have as citizens of America, nor is it simply a privilege we all deserve. It is one that has been fought for many times over. With this fight of our say, for our choice is ever going on, and to ignore it or disregard it is disrespectful to those whose lives have been sacrificed to defend it. Participation in our governmental decisions is the way many citizens are able to express their gratitude for the opportunity to share what they have to say, but regardless of whether or not the choice is made to participate, it is widely known about that option. People generally are at least aware of their rights to vote and to be a part of the choices that shape the rest of our lives in America. With that being said, another piece of this voting sign-up is choice itself. People know that even though it is civically right to vote and give their opinion, they are free to make the choice on their own. This is the other generalization that comes with this artifact- that people have a choice imbedded within their own civic duty and can choose how best to act upon it, even if that way is some other way than traditional.
