One facet of the delivery of my Ted Talk that I would like to improve would be my eye contact. There isn’t a specific instance in my speech where I am not making enough eye contact because I am not making enough eye contact throughout the entire speech. One strategy I intend to use is preparing better for my speech. If I prepare better, I won’t need to look down on my note cards so much. I would be able to look at the audience more. A second strategy I will use is while I am talking I will try to walk to stand up. If I am standing up and walking it may make it easier to be able to look at people and not a piece of paper.

I chose this speech because throughout the entire speech former Vice President Joe Biden continues to look at the audience throughout the entire speech. By doing this it lets the audience know that they are the people being informed.
