Its Never Over!

Anthony’s Game of the Week

The game of the week has to be the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Miami Dolphins. It’s the beginning of the fourth quarter and the Baltimore Ravens are dominating the Miami Dolphins 35 to 14. Fans are starting to leave the stadium early assuming the game is over. The Ravens have already won the game so it wouldn’t hurt to beat the traffic. At least that’s what everyone thought except the Dolphins. Tua Tagolovia had an answer to everyone who doubted his team. In the fourth quarter alone, the Dolphins outscored the Ravens 28 to 3 and beat the Ravens 42 to 38. In this incredible comeback, Tua racked up an insane 469 total yards while going 36 for 50 but it wouldn’t have been possible without his receiving core. Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle came together to lead the offense, together racking up 22 catches for 361 yards. The Raven’s Lamar Jackson led the offense passing for 318 yards and rushing for 119 yards. His main targets, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews had excellent games catching 13 targets for 212 yards. Despite the Raven’s powerful offense, it was the defense that caused their loss and allowed the Dolphins to make this crazy comeback.

Week 3 Predictions

Week 3 has some exciting matchups coming for us but here is what I think will be the top three games of the week.

Bills Vs. Dolphins

This matchup is going to be insane. Josh Allen has proved to be the most dominant quarterback this year and it seems like nothing can stop him. The Bills also have arguably the best wide receiver at the moment, Stefon Diggs, and hopefully, Gabriel Davis will be healthy enough to be another target on the field. While this offense is absolutely scary, we just saw what the Dolphin’s offense could do at their best. Tua has proven not to be a bust and has dominated through the last two weeks. Both teams’ offenses may be scary but I believe it will be the Bill’s Defense that will take the win in this game.

Lions Vs. Vikings

This may be a matchup that not too many have really considered but it will be a good one. Both teams have mediocre defenses and offenses but it’s going to come down to two players, Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Last year, Justin Jefferson has proved to be an elite receiver in his rookie year alone, but this year, we see St. Brown leading the Lion’s offense as a scary receiver. While St. Brown has proven to be a great receiver this year, the Lions won’t be able to stop Jefferson’s elite route running and the Vikings will take the win.

Packers Vs. Buccaneers

The last two veteran quarterbacks go head to head on NFL Sunday. Who doesn’t like watching two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks go against each other? Both teams lack receivers as the Packers have average wide receivers and the Buccaneers lost their star wide receiver, Mike Evans, due to suspension. Both quarterbacks haven’t been off to the greatest starts so this game will most likely come down to the defense. Due to this, I believe that the Buccaneers have the more powerful defense, therefore giving them the win. (Photo Credit)

Fantasy Football

Who doesn’t love Fantasy Football? Great way to come together with friends and family to gamble some money on the season. Although what truly matters is winning, therefore here are some not-so-popular players who will help lead your teams.

Kirk Cousins

While Cousins may be coming off a horrible week against the Eagles, where he only scored 8.84 points, he will most likely bounce back. He is going against a subpar defense and has Justin Jefferson as the main target. If you do not have a star quarterback, you should definitely pick up Cousins.

Christain Kirk

Wow, what a start Kirk has had. With 12 receptions, 195 yards, and 2 touchdowns, Kirk has racked up 43.5 points in the first 2 weeks. He’s proven to be the Jaguar’s best receiver and has helped to lead their offense. Kirk is a great flex option in your roster if you have him or if you can get him on waivers.

Drake London

Possible Rookie of the Year?  Most people are very hesitant to start rookie wide receivers due to a lack of knowledge but we have seen everything we need. With 13 receptions, 160 yards, and 1 touchdown, London has gotten 37 fantasy points. With a lack of productions of Kyle Pitts, London is another great flex option to have on your team. 1. The format of your blog post is very interesting! Each portion of your blog post give great detail into the games of the week (my roommate is from Buffalo, so we’re huge Josh Allen fans). The post could be given more personality, especially in the beginning when explaining which games are going to be talked about.
