Any Other Word is a creative outlet for members of the Penn State York student body. It was created to showcase students’ talents and to unite artistic minds. Special thanks are due to Julie Cassel for her hard work in helping to launch the publication.
What kinds of work do you publish?
Any Other Word publishes only the best short story and poetry pieces submitted by Penn State York students.
Who decides whether to publish a piece?
There is a board of editors who read through all submissions. This group of editors decides which works are going to be published based on literary merit. Editors rotate from issue to issue. The editorial team for issue eight consisted of Valarie Carrington, Yanelis Melendez, and Thomas Shaffer.
How can I contribute?
Anyone, from beginners to experienced writers, is invited to join Any Other Word’s editorial team. If you are interested and want to know more, please email Dr. Noel Sloboda, the faculty adviser for the publication at firstname.lastname@example.org.
