Lab Members
Steri is director of the Aging and Psychology Lab. She received a Ph.D. in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006, and has since been researching topics related to physical activity, psychological function, women’s health, aging, biopsychosocial mechanisms of physical activity effects on health and quality of life, biopsychosocial determinants of physical activity behavior across the lifespan, and menopause.
Melissa is a senior studying Kinesiology-Movement Science at Penn State. Her interests include exercise psychology, pediatrics, and she plans to attend physical therapy school.
Brianna is a Kinesiology major studying movement science with a minor in psychology. She is a member of the Penn State Majorettes Touch of Blue. She plans on going into sports psychology and/or pediatric physical therapy.
Perla is a senior studying Kinesiology with a Movement Science option. Her interests include helping people and she plans to become a physician assistant.
Lucy is a senior majoring in Kinesiology with a focus in movement science. She plans to get a certification in personal training this year and attend physical therapy school next year.
Lydia is a senior in Kinesiology with a focus in movement science. Her interests are exercising and travelling. She plans to become a physician assistant.
Takara is a freshman studying Biology in the Eberly College of Science. She is interested in the coordination and control of organisms, exercise psychology, Zumba, and plans to explore the options of a PhD. or MD/PhD in the future.
