New Media Practice: Semiotic Square 02

Semiotic_Square_2

This is my second time doing the semiotic square. Please excuse my horrid handwriting. I’m often quite bad with writing on a tablet. Beginning with Digital and Tactile, We have the Pitch. This was placed here due to the format of the pitch being digital, but the editors and publishing company will have the ability to interact with it. Across from it, in Not Tactile and Not Digital, we have research. This is the under the surface historical and audience based research that I need to do for both story-telling and to be able to fit my target audience the best.

Next is Digital and Not Tactile. Again, Concept Art reigns here since i do not forsee anyone interacting with the original files and nor can the editors change them without collaborating with me first. Finally, directly across from that, and the culmination of everything together is Tactile and Not Digital. In this, we have the printed comic book, or the candy from a successful pitch.
