(https://www.feedprojects.com/) To me, I see this as a successful grid design that visually appeals and grabs audience attention. Very clean cut and sharp image to bring out the text.

(https://airnauts.com) Upon opening this web page the opening animation does such a great job or breaking the normal traditional grid structure in order to create a unique user experience.

 

I use this as my example of bad design because it shows me no helpful resource for improving the overall user functionality of the website. It is so cluttered its hard on the eyes and make it impossible to find anything

 

Also as a side note found a great video on the psychology of web design which to me shows why some sites are so attractive while others aren’t
