Teaching

Tell me, and I’ll forget.

Show me, and I’ll remember.

Involve me, and I’ll understand.

Chinese proverb

The abovementioned proverb has been the guiding philosophy of my teaching. As a teacher, I believe it is my role to not only provide direct instruction to students, but also to guide them in interactive and engaged instruction, to promote experiential learning, and to encourage both independent and collaborative analysis and practice of the concepts taught. I have been dedicated to fulfilling each of these roles as an instructor for the following courses.
