Why Starfield will be the Next Big Game

The upcoming rpg (role playing game) Starfield developed by Bethesta (one of the biggest companies in videogame sector) is undoubtedly one of the most awaited games coming this year.  I believe that it will be a major success and have a lasting impact on the video game scene and will explain why.

The different planets will contain different minerals, terrain and creatures all available to explore, and interact with.

Immersing players in a deep and engaging story, the game will make the players hooked. Bethesta is known for creating rich storylines and worlds that entertain the players for hours and Starfield will (hopefully) be no exception.

Giving players an insane amount of freedom, the game will be extremely interactive and allow the players to further immerse themselves into the game. The game will allow the players to choose from various dialogue options with NPC’s and change their behavior, similar to the previous games developed by Bethesda such as Skyrim. The ability of players to choose from various dialogue options will also increase the replayability of the game since certain decisions  of the player will affect the story.  Moreover, the freedom of the players is not only limited to this. The players will be able to customize their own spaceship however they want. They will be able to modify their spaceships based on their playstyle such as focusing on speed while sacrificing from defence.

In conclusion, Starfield will be undoubtedly one of the biggest games coming out this year and its effect will last many years to come. That is, of course if Bethesda delivers on their promises and manages to have a launch free of technical difficulties.

Do you enjoy eating seafood? Many people do.  In fact,  according to an article published by Harvard, approximately one-third of every U.S citizen consume seafood every week.  However, this also demonstrates the severity of the issue mentioned above. The given advertisement by the Surfrider Foundation aims to persuade the audience to act in favor of preventing sea pollution by demonstrating the severity of the issue.

 

To begin with, the given advertisement uses an effective title. The title has a bold font and large text size which attracts the attention of the audience and puts emphasis on the urgency of the message. In addition, synthetic personalization is used as the audience is directly referred to as “you” which helps to strengthen the persuasive intention. Moreover, the color of the title is blue and since oceans are blue, this makes the audience associate the title with the oceans which further enhances its effect.

 

Furthermore, the use of visuals also aids in persuading the audience to help prevent plastic pollution. The image displays sushi made out of plastic trash thrown into the ocean. which symbolizes the plastic that people consume through the ingredients taken from the ocean.  Moreover, the choice of sushi is also intentional as it is a popular food that is considered delicious by many.  Pathos is also used here as a food that is meant to be eaten and considered delicious is made by plastic trash which disgusts the audience and makes them better understand the severity of the issue. In addition, the background color of the image is white which allows the audience to focus on the visuals without getting distracted.

 

Finally, the advertisement contains logos  which further motivates the audience to partake in the struggle against plastic pollution. The quote “over 12000 tons” emphasizes the large quantity of plastic ingested by fish which demonstrates the hazardous effect of plastic. 

 

In conclusion, the given advertisement aims to motivate action in favor of stopping sea pollution by utilizing various techniques.
