Flight MH370- The Missing Flight 

The disappearance of flight MH370 of Malaysian Airlines was one of the biggest events of 2014 which raised many eyebrows all over the world. Flight MH370 was an international passenger flight which scheduled to fly from Malaysia to China in March 2014 carrying 239 people . However, the flight never made it to it’s final destination in Beijing, China as it was declared missing while in the air. What actually happened on the flight which lead to these mysterious circumstances are a big topic of debate.

 

 

 

 

                                               Possible Reasons for Disappearance 

The actual reasons for the disappearance of flight MH370 are still unknown. However, some theories suggest that the cause for this tragedy could be a role played by someone on the flight. This could be someone from the passengers or someone from the crew. Several investigations have been made on each passenger and crew member’s background to determine the possibility of a terrorist attack. However, no strong evidence has been found to prove this an act of terrorism.

 

                                                              Global Reaction 

As the disappearance of this flight became a global news, help from all over the world was provided to Malaysian Airlines and the Malaysian government. Several experts and aviation officers were put on solving the case. The flight included passengers from various nationalities like China, Malaysia, Netherlands, Australia, India among others. Governments from these different countries worked together on solving the disappearance of this flight carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members.

Many investigations and millions of dollars were spent on the search for flight MH370. Still no hardcore evidence has been found as to what lead to the disappearance of the flight. The missing of such a huge airplane carrying more than 200 people is a big concern for people all over the world. It does not only leads to many questions, but also questions our safety as travelers. Many families of the victims have been paid more than 50000$ as a compensation by Malaysian Airlines apart from other fines in law suits. Even though large sums of money has been paid to the victim’s families, no amount of money can compensate for an individual’s life.

 

The company, Malaysian Airlines has seen a huge decline in shares and revenue since this event has taken place. This event is seen as a tragedy by people all over the world. Even though with such advanced technologies and accurate devices, it is sad to see such events take place in today’s world.
