Matt is a PhD Student in Nuclear Engineering at Penn State, and joined the BEARS group in Spring 2018. He received his B. A. in Mathematics, with a minor in Nuclear Engineering, from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. His research focuses on the design and operation of atmospheric plasma systems for applications such as sterilization and disease prevention. In his spare time, Matt enjoys cooking, photography and playing pool!
