Grade Forgiveness

Effective Summer 2020: students, who re-take the identical course to one in which they earned a D or F, may have the original D or F grade omitted from their GPA calculation.  The first attempt will still show on your transcript; however, the grade will not be included in your GPA.  If you re-take a course and wish to have the grade forgiven from your first attempt, you must request the grade forgiveness.  If you do not request the grade forgiveness, both grades will be included in calculating your GPA. Students are encouraged to speak with the Office of Financial Aid if they have received any federal or state aid and must speak with an advisor before submitting the form which can be found on the student LionPath homepage under ACADEMIC RECORDS.
