"The show is in the Studio Theater. How do I find it?"
The Studio Theatre at Behrend is located on Behrend’s campus next to the Turnbull building. Visitors may park in the Erie or Wilson lots when attending a performance. If needed, here is the Official Behrend Map.
"The show is in the Fasenmyer Building. How do I find it?"
Fasenmyer is located at the very end of College Drive. Visitors may park in the Prischak lot. On entering the building, head upstairs to the second floor, and look for the room in the west corner near the tutoring drop in locations. If needed, here is the Official Behrend Map.
"What should I prepare for my audition?"
If it is a musical, please prepare a musical theatre-style song (at least 16 bars), preferably with sheet music (we will provide the accompanist). If you do not plan on using sheet music and accompanist, please bring an instrumental or karaoke track that you can play from your phone (we can hook up to a speaker). Please note that singing with the accompanist is always preferred. There is no need to prepare a monologue, as we will ask you to perform a cold read from the script. You will also learn a short dance number, so please dress accordingly. Also be sure to bring your class schedule and any conflicts that may interfere with rehearsals.
"Do I need to go to both audition nights?"
You only need to attend auditions on one night.
"Can non-Behrend students audition for a show?"
