This collection of modules provides an in-depth exploration of Revit modeling for buildings, covering topics such as creating a building information model (BIM), modeling building elements, adding annotations and dimensions, and generating construction documentation.
Lessons in this course
1. The Evolution and Importance of AEC Technology
This lesson will explore the history of key technology used in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), including the drivers behind building modeling and the development of building information modeling (BIM).
2. Effective Building Communication and 3D Modeling
This lesson will cover the different types of communication used in building design and construction, as well as how to model effectively for different disciplines.
3. 3D Modeling and Virtual Design
This lesson will cover the basics of 3D modeling and how it can be used to create effective virtual designs.
4. Energy Modeling and 3D Model Integration
This lesson will provide students with an understanding of the context and drivers behind energy modeling, as well as the benefits of integrating BIM and building energy modeling (BEM)
