A Car Trip Adventure

This past week I had the opportunity to take a ride, although a short one, in a Honda CR-V.  Though this one had a few dings and scratches, it still is quite a nice crossover to look at. We came to an intersection with an older model, and he stopped abruptly, waved us on, and was obviously quite jealous of our newer version. As I placed my backpack in the trunk, I was struck by the spaciousness of the car. It certainly did not look quite large on the outside, but inside there was tons of room for storage.

THE Honda CR-V

In the rear passenger seats, small video screens occupied the passengers’ attention, and would certainly be more than enough to distract any young child from the boring haze of a long and arduous car trip. In the front passenger seat, I found the ride to be quite comfortable and the seat inviting. The over set-up of the dials and control console was very user-friendly: not to be unexpected out of a Honda. The driver was first concerned about which radio station would be on, and I can see why: there are loads to choose from.

In terms of power, the CR-V has a two options, 2.4 L incline 4 and a 2.0 L incline 4. This can be coupled to either a six speed manual transmission or a five-speed, automatic continuously variable transmission. With options in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive, the CR-V is bound to have a set-up that is right for almost any buyer. As always, Honda touts safety and reliability for the CR-V, as they do with all their vehicles. I would simply like to thank Dr. O’Hara for giving me a ride her fabulous CR-V, and giving me inspiration for this blog post.

Very astute summary. That was very well written, and I like the line about the other driver feeling jealous! This sounds like a great family car too. that must have been a fun ride!
