National Bubble Week begins Sunday, March 14th, 2021. We will be celebrating with a fun, inexpensive home science experiment using just a few fun ingredients. To make your own no-pop bubbles along with host, Greglynn Gibbs, you will need the following supplies:
- 3 Teaspoons (or just 1 teaspoon and rinse between ingredients)
- Corn syrup or glycerin (or both to try different formulations)
- Dish detergent or hand soap
- A dish, bowl, cup or bottle to mix all of the ingredients
- A straw, pipe cleaner, twist ties, or small bubble wand
Mini experiment kits will be distributed to or by program partners in specific regions.
FUN FACT: National Bubble Day has been observed the first week of Spring since 2000.
