If an individual who is not in your class joins your synchronous Zoom session and engages in disruptive behavior, you have the option to remove the participant from the online session. Instructions are below. To avoid the possibility of unknown individuals joining your meetings, schedule your Zoom meetings through the Zoom link in your Canvas course, and ensure that you have either enabled a password or allowed access only to PSU participants in your meeting settings.
Remove an attendee from a synchronous Zoom class
In the Zoom menu, click Manage Participants. A list of participants is displayed on the right. Hover over the name of the desired participant and select More. Click Remove.
