Our Initiatives

The Berks Youth Violence Intervention and Prevention Program is funded by by a $1.62 million grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The multi-year project employs evidence-based strategies to serve youth ages 14-21 in Berks County.

To best serve the community, the program endeavors to:

  • recruit and train peacemakers.
  • provide services for at-risk youth.
  • change community norms.
