The Berks Youth Violence Intervention and Prevention Program is funded by by a $1.62 million grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The multi-year project employs evidence-based strategies to serve youth ages 14-21 in Berks County.
To best serve the community, the program endeavors to:
- recruit and train peacemakers.
- provide services for at-risk youth.
- change community norms.
