The Berks Youth Violence Intervention and Prevention Coalition envisions a collaborative, comprehensive coalition of organizations and government-sponsored agencies that will work to eradicate violence in Berks County by:
- sharing information, training and evidence-based practices;
- expanding existing services and programs;
- developing new community specific intervention and prevention strategies; and
- coordinating efforts between coalition members.
Working together, coalition members will maximize community impact in our service areas. The alliance depends on mutual support and respect for the individual missions of each organization/agency.
