Parallel Universe- project 1 research

1.What is the primary point n these wiki title?

These Wiki titles are meant to give us information in geometry, especially when in the context of 3-D modeling. It also Goes over prospective and the way it interacts with geometry.

2.What parts of the wiki titles are easy to understand?

I find that The illustrations/figures do a good job of showcasing specific aspects/concepts  of the wiki titles.

3.what parts of the wiki titles are hard to understand or need clarification in class?

I think that certain concepts are overly wordy or are confusing. I feel like his is especially true with chapter 13 as it feels difficult to understand the actual concepts and feels more like an art history lesson.  When trying to figure out projection drawing I got lost and confuse within the wiki title. I feel like concept. topics could use a more clearly short summary to help make it fit together.

4.In chapter 5 you are introduced to the dimensional elements of basic visual design. Can you identify one example of volume that particularly impress you in this reading?

Figure 5.5 A found to be a vary good use of volume that caught my interest.  The way that he uses the ground to symbolize the sea and uses block to from familiar geometric shapes is fascinating. It is also a good use of perspective as it is view of above allows for each individual part of the illustration to be seen. It makes you feel like you looking down from the sky onto a  coastline.

5. In Part III — Material through Geometry and Chapter 10, you are introduced to various manifestations of geometry. How does the reading help you understand how the Cartesian coordinate system functions, both as a practical tool and as a conceptual metaphor?

Figure 10.7 in chapter 10 a found to be a very fascinating way to show the Cartesian coordinate system. to use nature in such a way is a true how creative people can be. it also useful as much thought has gone into connecting it to the Cartesian coordinate system. it brushes are very narrow and straight like lines. It also has a tree located at what would be coordinate  0,0. Overall a very good fusion of geometry/mathematics and nature.

6.In Part IIII — Metaphors to Making and Chapter 13, you are introduced to the critical concept of projection drawing. Can you identify one way in which this chapter helps you understand how to interpret the information you see in the modeling viewpoint?

In chapter 13 the tea cup give readers an example of how perspective plays an important role in the process of 3-d modeling. The perspective can give an make into a verity of different images just by playing with the direction with which the object is viewed.  this manipulation is show best with figure 13.27 as in one perspective the teacup looks like a neatly smooth object whilst in the other it is shown to be more irregular.

This exercise was a great tutorial to understanding and utilizing Fusion 360 and the basics of forming and manipulating models in fusion 360. This tutorial really is essential in figuring out how to make complex models. The only issue I have with the tutorial is it’s lack of explanation towards the many ways in which you can break you model if you are not careful with your edits. The bike seat is a rather good example as it is very easily to take and show off in a step to step process.
