The upcoming AGU fall meeting will be a busy time, as usual. I will be presenting research on early Earth subduction styles and crust formation on Wednesday morning, Dec. 11 in the session “V31G: Origin and Evolution of the Continental Crust II Posters.” I will also be presenting the work of undergraduate student Kyle Batra on heat flux scaling laws for stagnant lid convection with a buoyant crust Friday morning, Dec. 13 in the session “Numerical Modeling and Data Analytics: From Earth-Like to Venus-Like Extrasolar Planets II Posters.”
I will also be chairing a session on deep mantle dynamics, “A Deep Dive into Lowermost Mantle Processes” Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
